Innovations drive the industry forward, and the Anuga FoodTec 2024 in Cologne is the showcase for the latest developments that will shape the future of food processing and packaging. Langguth, as a leading provider of labelling solutions, is proud to be part of this pioneering trade fair. From March 19 to 22, we will open our doors in Hall 8.1, Stand A101, to visitors who want to experience the next generation of labelling technology.

The year 2022 offered many challenges, especially due to the lack of part availability on the purchasing markets caused by the two crisis areas of the Corona pandemic and the Ukraine war. Thanks to the great engagement of our employees, we were able to successfully complete our projects despite the delivery bottlenecks.

Our engineers have specifically further developed the well-known spin-spray technology of our hotmelt labellers. By separating the air, the valve is opened under high pressure before the glue dot is sprayed on at comparatively low pressure. This now enables an even more efficient hotmelt labelling process for the hotLAN 310 and moduLAN 800 series.

A nightmare for entrepreneurs: A new labeller has just been bought and only shortly thereafter the capacity is not suitable anymore due to the increased demand. Then the question arised for Eugen Rehm Esslinger Fleischwaren GmbH & Co. KG located in Aichwald/Southwestern Germany whether a temporary solution would be enough or whether a definitive decision should be made. After having discussed the matter in detail they found a perfect answer: The medium-sized family-owned company chose us – a medium-sized family-owned company as well – as a partner in order to find a remarkable labelling solution.

We at LANGGUTH have been successfully designing, constructing and manufacturing labelling machines for Werner & Mertz for ten years now and are proud of the good and long-standing cooperation. This year it was again required to design a labeling machine, which not only meets the performance and precision requirements, but also enables the application of additional labels in one machine cycle.

The relationship between two traditional enterprises, whose combined experience totals nearly 250 years, as well as high quality goals on both sides led to a fruitful cooperation. We integrated successfully a rotary labeller of the series moduLAN for the Ovomaltine® product at Wander already in 2016.

This year we at LANGGUTH have been commissioned to manufacture the third labelling machine for d’aucy. Our hotmelt labelling machine hotLAN 310 is ideally designed to apply a wrap-around label to canned vegetables quickly and precisely. Using the glue-saving spin-spray method, speeds of up to 60,000 labels/hour can be achieved. The low glue consumption is complemented by short change-over times and ease of operation.

With a capacity of 60.000 labellings per hour our E 62 series stood for maximum efficiency like no other machine. With customary reliability and speed LANGGUTH presents the subsequent model moduLAN 818 executed in modern CLEAN design. Consequently, LANGGUTH succeeds in achieving the balance between proven technology and modern design that is state-of-the-art.

Leinos was one of the first companies which focused on „natural colour“ and which emphasizes on a natural style still today. As far as possible the colours from Leinos are produced of natural products and nature-identical substances and are therefore free from non-degradable pollutants.

Now flip-top bottles of this brewery are labelled by a moduLAN 809. For ”Uerige“ this machine has been equipped with a wet glue labelling unit containing a so-called glue pallet system.

If two long-established family-owned companies work closely together there is a lot of expertise that is dealt with. We used this knowledge in order to give DAHLHOFF’s fine products an attractive outer appearance.

Established in 1846 by Johann Wilhelm Schamel, Schamel Meerrettich GmbH & Co. KG is family-managed in the sixth Generation. In 1914 Johann Jakob Schamel developed the idea of offering horseradish in jars and made Schamel the first Bavarian horseradish factory. This innovation set the course for today’s market leadership. Over the years, the variety of horseradish products has grown continuously, but the jar as a container has remained. Of course, this has to be provided with an eye-catching and always modern label. This is where we from Langguth come into play.
