If two long-established family-owned companies work closely together there is a lot of expertise that is dealt with. We used this knowledge in order to give DAHLHOFF’s fine products an attractive outer appearance.
The company DAHLHOFF Feinkost GmbH is a leading supplier in the field of salads presented by means of a salad bar or sales counter. Production is effected only in Germany with more than 280 employees. The headquarters is located close to us in Haltern am See (Western Germany). As a specialist for fresh delicacies they focus on highest quality standards. The rules regarding precision and care applied for the preparation of salads are also valid for the labelling of their products.
After a labeller type selfLAN 501 for the labelling of plastic pails had been installed successfully last year this time the task was to provide a machine in order to label plastic cans with two labels which had to be printed variably. Our selfLAN 510 meets these requirements perfectly.
Thermal transfer printers are used for the lateral label and for the lid label. They print the data in black colour informing the buyer about product name and barcode.
The label management at customer’s site is effected via a central server. The print job is selected directly at the machine. For this a separate computing unit based on Windows was installed.
The specialists ensured the compatibility between the printer and the software „NiceLabel“ used by the customer. The operating panel of the machine was fixed at a swivel arm in order to achieve a variable position. For the selection of printing data the display was integrated on one side and the function switch on the other side.
Since several weeks freshly labelled products roll from the assembly line. We gladly continue the successful collaboration with the DAHLHOFF Feinkost GmbH.
