LANGGUTH cooperates closely with the German Engineering Association (VDMA), the biggest industry network of the capital goods industry in Europe. The VDMA deals with the projects in the field of research, environment and training. As a member of the Executive Committee of the division for food processing machinery and packaging machines our managing director Klaus Pekruhl is always up-to-date and remains close to the action.
We are alliance member of the sustainability initiative Blue Competence. Blue Competence is an initiative of the VDMA for promoting and communication of sustainable solutions for the Mechanical Engineering Industry. By using the trademark “Blue Competence”, we commit ourselves to these twelve sustainable guidelines of the Mechanical Engineering Industry.
Under the slogan “Together for the future” the industry in North Westphalia has started an acceptance initiative that we support actively. There is a strong demand for professionals – especially for skilled technicians. By means of this initiative we get in contact with pupils and provide guided tours through our workshop for them so that they develop enthusiasm for our branch. Great importance is placed on the thrill of practical learning instead of theoretical lessons.
Schools and Business
The lessons of the Edit-Stein school are displaced regularly from the classroom into the LANGGUTH workshop. We have established a cooperation with this school and support future professionals. The pupils become therefore familiar with the daily life in our company and learn more about our workflow. Both parties are pleased about it: We present LANGGUTH as employer and the young people benefit from the new impressions that are helpful for the start into their professional life.
